"Namaskar"

Accompanied by Anjali Mudra 'Namaskar' is a greeting meaning literally "I bow to you" It is an acknowledgement of the Divine that resideds within all of us, a recognition of the life force. It is an act of humility and brotherhood. We are all one and the same and connect above all through our hearts. It is a symbolic, physical and energetic expression of faternity. It is a moment of connection, a moment of union transcending the divisive nature of the ego-mind.It is a recognition of Sangha on a shared path. It is this communication and connection, which the world is so desperately in need of, that we are trying to nurture and spread through the practice of Hatha Yoga.It is the foundation of our endeavour.
We practice  Vipassana meditation and believe that seated meditation (Dhyana) is an essential part of ones practice. It is through meditation one can observe the mind working.Resting in a state dynamic stillness enables one to develope a distance from the incessant flow of thoughts, to no longer identify with them so intimately. This with repeated practice liberates us from the duality of attraction and aversion allowing one to respond rather than react to the vissitudes of life. This liberation enables our Buddha-nature (buddhadhātu)  to manifest. Our true nature enables us to positively accept and embrace our lives with joy (ananda) whatever may unfold and unifies us with our fellow human beings.
Our aim is to inspire a curiosity for self discovery, to open peoples minds and bodies to the joys and benefits self knowledge. Using these ancient practices we hope to cultivate ' the art of listening ' which lies at the root of healing. Our intention is to give people back the information, to give guidance and facilitate an experiential understanding of the perenial wisdom of what it is to be a Buddha in all its magnificence, harmony and joy.

A bold undertaking for which we invite you join us

“The sun shines down, and its image reflects in a thousand different pots filled with water. The reflections are many, but they are each reflecting the same sun. Similarly, when we come to know who we truly are, we will see ourselves in all people.”

                                                                                                                                                                                                 - Ammachi, the Hugging Saint:

"In the stillness of your presence, you can feel your own formless and timeless reality as the unmanifested life that animates your physical form. You can then feel the same life deep within every other human and every other creature. You look beyond the veil of form and separation. This is the realization of oneness. This is love. "
